Café 195

A surprising find (b, l; $)

Lunchtime salad wrap

With its early opening times and a terrace conveniently located in the car park opposite the main Massey Store at Warrens, Café 195 & bistro is a convenient pitstop for breakfast on the go, business meetings over a latte or lunch, or a treat after the tedium of supermarket shopping. The menu’s standard North American fare: sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, simple pastas, salad bowls, wraps and toasted sandwiches, but nicely prepared, with a range of vegan options.

More surprisingly, Café 195 is an unlikely venue for a worthwhile Sunday brunch – you can tuck into in a full cooked breakfast with hash browns, sausages, bacon, eggs and the works for only BD$34, or a stack of pancakes with extras for under BD$20. The sea-views may be lacking (or indeed any view of note) but the quality of the food is high and the place offers value for money.

Note: Also offers online ordering for take-aways.
