Tours

The various itineraries usually include several sights and plenty of photo stops in between, with some rum punch thrown in. Day trips include lunch – often on the East Coast. If you want a tailor-made tour, hire a taxi driver for the day; they are founts of local knowledge. Engage one with a people carrier, to ensure better views of the countryside. Most hotels and holiday rentals can put you in touch with someone.

In Bridgetown, there are a few guided (2–3hr) walking tours on offer although you can use our easy-to-follow Bridgetown walking tour round the city centre.

Alternatively, a catamaran cruise offers a half-day of sightseeing on the water, as your captain can point out some of the island’s landmarks as you sail up the West Coast.
