Unique handcrafted Pacifika-style ukuleles

Visit Riki Adamu’s family ukulele factory at his house just off the Are Metua inner ring road not too far east of Avarua. There’s signage as you’re getting close.

These are genuine unique, handmade "Pasifika" style ukuleles made from a variety of exotic timbers such as teak, Fijian kauri, cedar, rosewood, mahogany and hibiscus. They utilise doubled strings for a distinctive Polynesian sound.

You may also run into Riki and his family selling ukuleles at the Punanga Nui Market on Saturday mornings.
