Exmoor National Park
Moors, cliffs, ponies & red deer
The 267 square miles of Exmoor National Park sweep from exposed moors via sheer cliffs to the sea. The heather-clad hills and steep valleys are home to regal red deer and sturdy Exmoor Ponies – the hiking here is superb.
Towns & Villages
On the southern fringes of Exmoor, Dulverton is a relaxed market town, with some appealing places to stay and Woods bistro – a first-class gastro pub.
Dunster sits on the moor’s northern edge, a photogenic town with medieval houses, part-cobbled streets and impressive Dunster Castle.
