Looe
Lively resort & fishing port
Looe is one of east Cornwall’s most bustling seaside towns. That’s thanks in part to a busy fishing fleet – you’ll see its boats lined up along the quay and find the catch served up in town.
Looe is also a popular resort, with families and holidaymakers flocking to the town’s gift shops, cafes, pubs and compact sandy beach.
The Looe Marine Conservation Group has put together advice on local rockpooling – check whether they’re also staging any guided walks.
The group has also devised tips on crabbing on Looe Quay. Look out too for details of boat and fishing trips chalked up on boards on the quay.
