Vittoria on the Walk

Fabulous thin-crust pizza (l,d; ££)

Hawaiian Pizza with Chicken at La Favorita, Edinburgh

If you're going to have a debate on where Edinburgh's best pizzas are, then the modern Italian restaurant of Vittoria should get more than just a mention.

These are of the thin-and-crispy sort and come with more topping options than can shake a bread-stick at. Good pastas and risottos are also offered.

Leave space for an ice-cream treat afterwards. In the Italian tradition, these are superb too.
