Narva Castle Museum

Medieval weaponry & majestic views

Narva

Occupying Narva Castle’s main tower is the Narva Museum (Narvamuuseum), a rambling but entertaining collection of armour, cannonballs and muskets that demands to be visited for the drama of its setting – an atmospheric succession of stone-built halls and passageways.

Ascending through exhibition galleries inside the Tall Hermann tower brings you out onto an enclosed walkway just below the top of the tower, affording majestic views of Ivangorod fortress across the river.
