AHHAA Science Centre
Science is fun
Located just east of the centre, the AHHAA Science Centre was set up by Tartu University to promote science and technology with a plethora of educative and interactive exhibits.
It’s a big, spectacular space, comprising a hall of nature, a hall of technology, and sections covering the human brain and the senses. There are games, puzzles and on-screen challenges galore, plus active displays illustrating the laws of physics.
The centre also includes a planetarium with shows 1-3 times a day; and a “Let There Be Light” show detailing the different propeties of light and the optical effects that can be created.
It’s the kind of place that can keep you amused for hours; luckily there’s an on-site cafeteria providing lunches and drinks,
