The Upside-Down House
Topsy-turvy living
The Upside Down House (Tagurpidi Maja) is pretty much what it says on the label – a two-storey family house that is upside down. The roof is on the ground, and household furnishings appear to be hanging on the ceiling. Rooms are tilted to create an additional sense of disorientation - and a wealth of selfie opportunities.
For those who want historical content as well as fun, the house interiors provide an insight into the history of Estonian domestic design.
The Upside Down House is near the Estonian National Museum and a visit to the two attractions can be combined
