Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia
Cutting edge culture
Housed in a simple three-storey block just outside the Old Town, the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia (Eesti Kaasaegse Kunsti Muuseum or EKKM) was founded in 2006 to provide a platform for young, breakthrough artists from Estonia and abroad. Since then it has become one of the main motors of the local arts scene.
A sequence of changing exhibitions are held from April through to December. (The museum closes in winter to save on heating bills.)
