Transport
France is blessed with an excellent transport infrastructure and getting to most destinations couldn’t be easier!
Trains & Buses
Long Distance Rail Travel Trains including the TGV are fast and relatively cheap, link all the main towns and also go into the rural areas which my not be served by the buses.
Long distance Coach travel is a relatively new phenomenon in France but since 2015 it has become very popular and serves all the major cities especially those not served by the TGV train. There are three main operators, the main one being Flixibus.
Urban bus services are provided in most cities too - pay the driver as you board a flat rate fare (usually 1€) and go as far as you wish.
