Restaurants

Yum Cha

Lan Kwai Fong has long been the key evening restaurant and nightlife hub, though in recent decades SoHo has come to rival it.

Meanwhile, so many eating and drinking venues have sprouted along Hollywood Road and Wyndham Street that it feels likely that someday both areas will merge into one.

Meals & Prices at-a-glance

At-a-glance information has also been provided for all the eating options in this app: the subtitles of each entry are marked with the codes:

  • b = breakfast
  • l = lunch
  • d = dinner
  • $ = Less than HK$250 per person for a meal (excl. alcohol, tax, tip)
  • $$ = HK$250-HK$500 per person for a meal (excl. alcohol, tax, tip)
  • $$$ = HK$500 per person for a meal (excl. alcohol, tax, tip)

Note that in many Chinese restaurants, a pot of tea is brought automatically to your table, for which you’ll be charged. Make sure, therefore, that the waiter understands before you sit down if you don’t want tea.
