SoHo

Saner nightlife alternative to Lan Kwai Fong

The opening of the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator brought with it an unexpected development (at least for me): a blossoming of bars, cafes and ethnic eateries along its wake. Called SoHo for its location “south of Hollywood Road,” it’s popular with expats living in the Mid-Levels, who find it a convenient place to stop for a drink or meal before heading home.

North of Hollywood Road (sometimes called NoHo) is also home to ever more bars and restaurants.
