European Farmer's Market
One of its best known attractions is the European Farmer's Market located in the downtown near the old railroad depot. Open every Saturday starting in late May and ending at the end of October, the market goes beyond locally grown produce and also offers a cornucopia of other food products.
The list is seemingly endless. The Bit of Swiss Bakery, named one of the Top Ten artisan bread makers in the country by USA Today, has a stall.
The line forms early for the Cheese People known for their wide selection of cheeses including a yummy split brie with apricot preserves in the middle and goat cheeses from the nationally known Capriole Farms.
Other vendors sell elk and buffalo meats, sausages, homemade soaps and candles as well as stained glass.
