Bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy free concerts in the charming city of LaPorte.

Founded in 1879 making it one of the oldest in the state, LaPorte's City Band performs in Fox Park located on Clear Lake.

Door Prairie 9-sided barn

The only known one remaining in the United States, this 9-sided barn was built in 1882 by Quaker farmer John Jeffrey.

Self-guided tours & sculptures

Take a self guided Stroll Along the Avenues in downtown LaPorte to see the magnificent Colonial Revival, Gothic Revival and Queen Anne from previous centuries.

Check out the city's art scene including Ed Wedow's Metal Sculptures.

If you like county fairs, make sure to be here in the summer for the LaPorte County Fair – always a good time.

Outdoors
