Taj’in Darna
Decent food with a view (b,l.d; $$)
In the corner of the Jemaa, but with a reasonable view over it from its top terrace Taj’in Darna is one of the better Jemaa el Fna choices.
Their menu also offers one or two more adventurous options than the usual. There's a lamb tajine with figs and walnuts (75dh), for example, or a cheese and vegetable pastilla (50dh). Their speciality is rfisa (70dh), which is chicken cooked with onions, lentils and the morning's msimmen (griddle bread “crêpe”).
For those who prefer a set meal, they also do a variety of set breakfasts, and of lunch/supper menus.
