Marrakesh Film Festival
Festival International du Film de Marrakech (Nov/Dec)
Established in 2001, the Marrakesh Film Festival (Festival International du Film de Marrakech) presents films from Morocco, the Arab world and Africa, as well as from the US, Europe and Asia. The festival is held over a week at the very end of November and/or beginning of December.
A big screen is erected in the Jemaa el Fna to show movies every evening during the festival. The other main venues are the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, the Cinéma Colisée in Boulevard Mohammed Zerktouni in Guéliz, and the Palais des Congrès on Boulevard Mohamed VI in Hivernage.
