African Chic
Music, tapas & beer
One of Marrakesh's more interesting bars, African Chic has live Latin-style music midnight–2am nightly, with DJs filling in before and after. There’s also an attached restaurant called Le Zebra.
The decor is suitably eclectic, the food is good, with tapas available (5 for 70dh, 8 for 100dh) as well as main courses, beer, wine and cocktails.
The crowd is pretty mixed, with Moroccans, tourists and the odd African expat, plus quite a lot of sex workers (which is par for the course in Moroccan nightclubs). The vibe is easy-going, and it's generally a good place for a night out.
