Ville Nouvelle Bars

Casablanca Beer

Most of Marrakesh's bars are in the Ville Nouvelle's main downtown area, Guéliz.

There are hardcore drinking dens like L’Escale and the bar area of La Taverne, which most women will not want to drink in, and there's the Café Atlas, which is still low-priced, but somewhat more refined, and shows football matches on its TV screens.

More upmarket bars include the Chesterfield Pub and Sky Bar, and bars with food and music such as African Chic and Kechmara.

There are also a few tapas bars, notably La Table Espagnole. The laid-back, studenty Café du Livre is really a café, but serves alcohol.
