Kids & Families
Most visitors are pleasantly surprised to learn just how kid-friendly Mexico City is. Chapultepec Park is the obvious choice for family fun with its interactive children’s museum Papalote Museo del Niño, the palatial Chapultepec Castle and the city zoo.
In the southern neighborhood of Xochimilco, a gondola ride along ancient canals lets the imagination run wild, while in the city center an antique toy museum and action-packed lucha libre (Mexican wrestling) matches make it all too easy to tap into you inner child.
As for food, the city’s diverse culinary options usually please even the most finicky of eaters, and when all else fails there’s no lack of gringo-friendly fare.
