Little River Shrimp Festival
Seafood festival in a quaint little village (mid-Oct)
The Little River Shrimp Festival is an annual two-day street festival in Little River, usually on Columbus Day weekend in mid-October.
The historic little waterfront town has several blocks filled with local dives and interesting character.
The festival features a variety of seafood, plenty of other tasty festival foods, beer and wine. Eat on the street or pop into one of the local joints for a bar stool or a waterfront deck table.
Live bands, arts and crafts exhibits, eclectic shops are always a treat.
The location is the departure for the area’s only gambling cruises, although not related to the festival.
