Little River
Little River is the most northern town in South Carolina, located on the Intracoastal Waterway. It’s a historic fishing village known for a few restaurants which often feature live music and may appear to be dives. It’s also known for the huge events, the annual Little River Shrimp Festival in October and the Blue Crab Festival in May.
A few of the area’s best golf courses and restaurants are along U.S. 17 in this little town, although not in the actual fishing village. Check out Brentwood Restaurant or The Parson’s Table for fine dinners, although reservations are recommended as these spots are usually crowded.
The area’s only gambling boat departs from Little River.
