Second Avenue Pier
906 feet long
Second Avenue Pier was built in 1936, then rebuilt in 1954 after being destroyed by Hurricane Hazel. This pier’s season runs from Valentine’s Day to Thanksgiving Day annually. Anglers will fill the pier during prime season.
This is the southern beginning of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and as such attracts attention, especially with its modernized facade, restaurant and rooftop bar.
Second Avenue Pier delivers a view north or south from the beginning or end of the pier which is quite spectacular! Take a walk even if you don’t fish.
Enjoy cocktails and a light menu in the open air bar on the top floor.
