The Myrtle Beach area has a great range of accommodations.

Location

First-timers will think of staying in the central Myrtle Beach area which we cannot really recommend. You will want to drive to the Myrtle Beach Boulevard area but not necessarily stay there. It's not a compact walking town anyway, so the best choice is to find a good quality family resort with the desired amenities.

Oceanfront properties are generally recommended, and most also have pools, gyms and some food options.

A few choices are suggested here in addition to those especially convenient for Golfing North Strand, Golfing Central Myrtle Beach or Golfing South Strand.

Outdoor lovers will enjoy the Camping opportunities too.

Booking

Wherever you choose, booking well in advance is important for any summer visit when a week is often required rather than a few days.
