Myrtle Beach In-A-Day

An ideal intro for families with kids

Myrtle Beach can't really be fully appreciated in a day, but these highlights are a perfect introduction and shouldn't be missed.

Morning

Grab coffee and walk on the beach, perfect for shelling and photographing, There are miles of unencumbered views north and south from wherever you are staying. On rare occasions you might see a school of playful dolphin, and during the winter possibly even a humpback whale.

If you are not staying in central Myrtle Beach, drive to the boulevard and extend your walk on the scenic oceanfront Myrtle Beach Boardwalk along the Atlantic Ocean. Browse shops and activities along the way. Also, enjoy people watching. Stop to take photos to make your friends back home jealous.

Then take the SkyWheel to really get your bearings in one of 42 enclosed gondolas some 200 feet above sea level.

To complete your morning activities Miniature Golf is easy to find with any short drive around town, regardless of where you are staying.
