The Col also happens to be on the route of the Monte Carlo Rally and passes through the vast Forêt de Turini on the slopes of the Authion Massif. It has also been used for the Tour de France on several occasions.
Don’t miss: the Monument aux Morts and other military interest above the Col on the Authion Plateau.
Note: The Col is usually open all year but is subject to temporary closures when blocked by snow. Always check before setting off especially between September and May.
