San Pedro Market
Eiffel’s gift to Cusco
San Pedro is most famous for its metal roof designed by the French architect Gustav Eiffel, who lived in Cusco for a time and gifted the roof to Cusco in gratitude. This market has the typical sections for fruits, veggies, meats, cheese, bread, fruit juice stalls and a whole section for breakfasts and lunches, served to be eaten at the market.
Unlike other markets in Cusco, it also has a ring of souvenir shops around the outside. If you have a long souvenir or gift list, this is a great place to get everything in one go.
Open every day 6am to 5pm.
