San Blas Market
Best for meals
San Blas is a small market, which makes it easy to navigate. It doesn’t have souvenir shops, but it’s the best place to eat at the market. The entire back wall is breakfast and juice stalls. Sandwiches like the one above are considered breakfast.
Another section has lunch stalls. There is a sizable expat population in San Blas, so among the lunch options are international fare such as falafal and vegetarian versions of Peruvian dishes.
Of course, there are stalls for fruits, veggies, bread, cheese and shops that sell pasta, flour and other nonperishable basics.
Open every day 6am to 5pm
