Route 4

Extended San Blas

12 Angle Stone

Route 4 is longer and has a lot of stairs, so I recommend walking very slowly or waiting until you have acclimated to the altitude.

Walk up Calle Triunfo and Hatunrumiyoc like Route 2, climb the stairs above the Plazoleta San Blas fountain and up more stairs along Calle Pasñapakana to the Mirador San Blas. You’ll have a great view across Cusco and see signs explaining how the city was designed in the shape of a puma.

Route 4 Part 1

Back down the stairs, continue uphill on Tandapata and then down 7 Angelitos to Carmen Alto. Stop in at La Bohème for a smoothie or lunch, then continue down Atoqsayk'uchi to Choquechaka, downhill just 50 meters to Siete Culebras.

Route 4 Part 2

Stop in the Plazoleta Nazarenas to visit the Museo de Arte Precolombiano. Then walk Córdoba de Tucumán to the San Borja Fountain, then back to the Plaza de Armas. There are way too many stairs for this route to be wheelchair accessible.
