Museo de Arte Precolombino
1250 BCE to 1532
The collection of 403 pieces of art includes artifacts from various regions of Peru created between 1250 BCE & 1532.
It’s my favorite museum in Cusco both for the fabulous displays of art from around Peru and the stately colonial building. The art is diverse, made from everything from ceramics to wood to shells to gold and silver. I like the animistic ceramics even more than the exquisite gold jewelry.
Location: Plaza de las Nazarenas 231
