Glasgow Science Centre

Modern science museum for kids

hdr science centre

The dynamic Glasgow Science Centre has three huge floors of interactive exhibits for kids.

This means it gets jam-packed and can resemble a giant playground on weekdays thanks to the many school visits. At other times it's easier to get to all the different puzzles, optical illusions, music, engineering and craft areas.

They're all good fun and pretty successful at engaging kids and even adults. A couple of the big hits are the mind-control competitions and the Madagascan hissing cockroaches.

And if all that isn't enough, there's an IMAX cinema playing feature-length films and a huge revolving tower for views of central Glasgow and beyond. Check what’s on.
