Edinburgh Restaurants

The Caves, Edinburgh

Edinburgh has an excellent dining scene with a huge range of options in every price bracket. This Scotland guide only skims the surface of what's available; the best local resource is probably local listings magazine, The List, which maintains a good online database.

New Town

If you'd rather browse districts then you'll find the greatest selection in the New Town, including Urban Angel and Café Royal. The Balmoral Hotel has an excellent high-end restaurant.

Old Town

The Old Town is slightly more restricted for dining though there’s a slew of budget places in the studenty Southside neighborhood. These include Mum's, but most dot South Clerk Street.
