Vino rosado

Rosé wine

Although still very small scale compared to the production of red and white wine, vino rosado has carved out a niche for itself in the Spanish market.

The Cigales DO in Castilla y León has long been associated with rosados, while Rioja has a number of well regarded oaked rosados.

However, the region with the best reputation for rosados is Navarra which, since the 1970s, has focused its production on* rosados* made from red grapes.
