If you'd like a guide to show you York or parts of it, there are lots of possibilities – detailed below.

If you don't need a guide, you could also explore the snickelways using the Mark Jones book from the information office to make your own walking tour. Or follow the Walls Walk on this app.

TIP Some tours are light-hearted, some more serious. Ask for advice in the information office (which has leaflets on most tours on the day if you're unsure. They will also be able to suggest current special interest tours and off-beat alternatives – such as jogging tours).
