City Cruise York

A different view of York

Sightseeing cruises on the River Ouse of around 45 minutes, with live commentary. On-board bar.

In the summer there are also longer trips downstream to Bishopthorpe and the Place of the Archbishop of York.

Departure year (Feb-Nov) Kings Staith 10.30, noon, 1.30pm, 3pm, with additional cruises in summer. Boats also stop at Lendal Bridge near Museum Gardens (ten minutes after departure from Kings Staith).

For an alternative view from the river, get your own self-drive small motor boat (for up to 8 people). On hire every day from 10am, at around £30 per hour from Kings Staith. Ideal for riverside picnics.
