The Sage Bar & Stage

Music in a garden setting

An atmospheric, intimate setting in the home and fairy-lit garden of Barbadian singer-songwriter David Kirton, and Noelle Attaway. This chilled venue offers a changing menu of live music from local artists, including Latin, jazz, reggae, and occasional comedy, poetry and theatre nights.

Latin beats are particularly popular, when all are invited to hit the dance floor for a spot of salsa, encouraged by Cuban salsa teacher Andres.

The house (pictured above) is laden with striking artwork and music memorabilia, and hosts a second bar on busy nights. Cocktails are a bit hit and miss, but the beer, wine and tasty finger food hit the spot. Expect warm hospitality and a memorable night.

Live entertainment usually starts around 9pm (8pm on Sundays).
