Teign Gorge Walk

Hike a dramatic wooded valley (4 miles)

The Teign Valley plunges down densely wooded hills to a rushing river. You can explore it on the exhilarating 4-mile Teign Gorge Walk.

The circular route starts at the National Trust property of Castle Drogo. It then follows a waymarked circuit leading from the main car park, across a common to a steep descent.

After dropping by the Fingle Bridge Inn for refreshments you then shadow the idyllic River Teign for two miles before a steep climb back up the ridge.
