Dartmoor National Park

Dartmoor National Park offers you an unforgettable wilderness escape. Its 368 square miles are filled with open moors with hundreds of boulder-strewn granite hills, called tors.

Dartmoor is traced with mountain biking and hiking trails and is peppered with riding stables, climbing crags and wild swimming spots. All around sit pretty villages and ancient pubs.

Princetown

Dartmoor National Park Visitors Centre , Princetown, Devon, UK

Princetown is the moor’s highest settlement, and with a range of inns, bunkhouses, cafes and B&Bs makes a good base.

The town is home to the Fox Tor Cafe, while Wistman’s Wood and the Merrivale Stone Rows are around four miles away. Widecombe-in-the-Moor and the Warren House Inn are within 10 miles.
