Cambridge Tours

On foot, by bus, by punt

Joining a guided tour is the quickest way to discover Cambridge, its history and fascinating buildings.

• Free 2 hour Footprints Cambridge Tour start 11 am and 2pm from Kings Parade. Covers most of the key University sites and the River Cam plus bizarre University traditions and stories

Footprints Cambridge University & City Tour (pre-paid). Includes entrance to Kings College grounds and chapel. Last 2 hours starting 11am & 2pm

• City Sightseeing hop on hop off bus tour covering 18 locations around the city. Very general tour, quick way to explore.

• Guided tour of River Cam & backs of Colleges by Cam Boats. Can book private tours for groups of 10+. Public tours running all day leaving from Jesus Lock. Lasts 1 - 21/2 hours.

•  Scudamores guided punting tours. Frequent all day. Lasts 45 minutes starts either Mill Lane or Quayside. Backs of colleges, under the Mathematical bridge, and the Bridge of Sighs.Feeling brave? Hire a punt for 60+ minutes and pilot it yourself along the river (basic instruction given!).

• Cambridge Punting tours depart every 30 minutes opposite Magdalene College Gardens. 50 minute guided tour around the Backs.
