Cambridge

Cambridge street

Long renowned for its University, Cambridge offers lots of cultural and historical experiences. There are also plenty of outdoor activities such as punting on the river, guided walks and the beautiful Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

If you only have one day in Cambridge, the ideal combination would be to try punting, visit Colleges and Kings College Chapel, and climb the 123 steps up the tower of Great St Mary’s for fantastic views across Cambridge.

Transport

Parking in Cambridge is very difficult. Use park & ride services, or travel by public transport. Cambridge Rail station is approximately 15 minutes walk from Kings College Chapel.

Nearby

Nearby attractions within walking distance include numerous Colleges of the University of Cambridge, the Polar Institute containing art and artefacts from the Arctic and Antarctic.
