Cambridge University Botanic Garden

Plants to explore

A major botanic garden, containing over 8,000 plants, with many rare collections set in different planting areas such as woodland, streams, bogs, rock gardens, dry gardens, pinetum, glasshouses and wild flower areas.

A good place for anyone who loves plants to explore, or to seek an enjoyable walk through different environments. A grass maze is popular with children. Other children’s activities are often available.

A winter garden provided added interest during the winter period with coloured stems, foliage and flowering plants.

Paths are generally accessible to all users.
