Coastal bird reserve

Home to a vast array of wildlife including booming bitterns, avocets, Marsh Harriers, otters, Red Deer, this nature reserve includes a variety of landscapes such as woods, shallow lagoons, heathland and shingle.

Lots of walking trails, bird hides to watch for rare birds. Visitor centre and cafe on site also a children’s playground. There is a programme of guided walks available all year round.

Toilets, Picnic area. Only guide dogs allowed on site. No cycling.

Accessible only by car due to its remote coastal location. Follow brown signposts from Westleton, just off the A12 in Suffolk. Parking.
