Anglesey Abbey

Mansion & landscaped gardens

Aerial view Anglesey Abbey

A National Trust site, Angelsey Abbey is an unusual property once owned by Lord Fairhaven.

Countless rare clocks, books, paintings and country house style furnishings can be seen inside the Abbey, while outside you can explore 114 acres of woodland, grassland and stunning gardens designed to offer displays throughout the year, including a pretty winter garden.

Stroll through the woods to reach the picturesque Lode Mill. Special events are held, including illuminated trails in late autumn, early winter. There is a woodland play area.

Cafe on site, also shop, bookshop and plant centre.
