Southwold Shops
Compact & accessible
A very compact little town, it takes less than half an hour to walk from one end of the shopping area to the far end. Almost all the stores here are local, regional businesses catering for the tourist market and the local customers.
There are just a few high street names like White Stuff and Seasalt. Clothing tends to be mid and upmarket, and there are also bookshops, food stores, gifts and homewares along with childrens toys and games.
An unusual store is the Amber Shop where you can buy all kinds of jewellry and ornaments made out of amber, as well as taking a look around their unique free museum containing intricate carvings and objects made from amber.
There are several large car parks, including one by the pier. On street parking is available in places.
