Shops & Shopping

Boutique shopping in Nice

Shopping or Le Shopping as many call it falls into two or maybe three categories for visitors.

First if you are self-catering there are the the amazing fresh produce markets which you’ll find in every city and town. I have included two of the best in the app - the Cours Saleya in Nice and Sarlat Market. Failing this the local Épicerie or Grocer always offers great value as do the out of town Hypermarchés such as Leclerc and Casino.

Shopping for souvenirs allows you to bring back cherished memories of your trip and gifts for friends and family. There are diverse shopping options, from charming boutiques to lively street markets and the inevitable street traders, but don’t allow yourself to be hassled into buying something you don’t want. Choose from an array of specialties such as local wines and cheeses, delectable chocolates, and a variety of crafts.
