On Monday the flower market becomes a flea or antique market. Here lovers of old artefacts can wander between the stalls seeking out exactly what takes their fancy. Moreover, there is such a huge variety on display leaves the buyer spoiled for choice! (see website for details)
Famous Residents
Pablo Picasso and Henri Matisse lived here. Check out the Cais de Pierla Palace at the eastern end of the Cours Saleya.
Tip: For a great overall view of the market, climb the steps on the south side of the Cours Saleya opposite the Palais de la Prefecture.
