Southern France

St Tropez

Included here are the two Régions of Occitanie and Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur known the world over as the South of France.

For the purposes of this app Occitanie has been divided into two parts: Languedoc-Roussillon, reflecting how the Région was known pre 2016 and the Midi-Pyrénées which was originally a Région in its own right. Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur is presented in two parts - Provence and the French Riviera - readers may wish to download my Provence’s Best App should they require additional information.

Both Regions have a plentiful supply of rewarding towns, splendid beaches, regional natural parks such as the Mercantour National Park and stunning historical monuments, for example the Pont du Gard. You prefer charming villages? Look no further than the Luberon in Provence!
