Vieux Montferrand
Old Montferand
Montferrand was a separate town until the 17th Century when it was amalgamated with Clermont forming the new City of Clermont-Ferrand
Although a short tram/bus journey from the centre (see details in Practical Information below) it’s well worth the effort in order to see the old Merchant houses and the Église Notre-Dame-de-la-Prospérité built in the Southern Gothic style.
N.B. L’Aventure Michelin is also located in Vieux Montferrand
