Futuroscope

Parc du Futurosope

Parc du Futuroscope

Founded by René Monory and opened in 1987 on the northern outskirts of Poitiers, Futuroscope, the first theme park in France, was based on multimedia, cinematographic and audio-visual methods of working.

Known originally as Planète Futuroscope, the Parc has several 3D cinemas and a few 4D ones which mix fun, magic and the future allowing visitors to enjoy unique experiences such as ‘The Extraordinary Voyage’ based on Jules Verne’s ‘Around the World in 80 days’ and the ‘Space adventure of Thomas Pesquet’.

Don’t miss the Park if you are in the area! Truly a great day out for the whole family.
