This lovely Greek taverna near the remains of Thessaloniki’s eastern city wall is named after the town of Marseilles, whose emblem is a rooster.
Originally located in the Halkidiki peninsular, the owners have now relocated to Thessaloniki and the menu offers meat, fish and vegan options such as grilled honey pork belly, beef burger with pesto or mezze options such as feta cheese spread, taramasalata and tzatziki with pita breat or sauteed mushrooms with chilli flakes.
Traditional decor and popular with locals and tourists.
